Church of England Affiliation:
The two churches, St Martin's C.E and St Mary's C.E, have equal responsibility for the school and between them appoint some of the governing body.
The governors, in conjunction with the LES, are responsible for the delivery of the National Curriculum, appointment of staff and management of the delegated budgets and maintenance of the building. There is statutory provision for parents and teacher representatives on the governing body.
The governors meet at least twice each term, additional meeting are called when necessary. The governing body is divided into smaller sub committees which report to the full governing body.
